Urge Tim Hortons to add plant-based options!

Tim Hortons is well-known for their iconic coffee and their menu offerings have become a part of our daily routines and shared experiences. However, as our society increasingly embraces plant-based diets for health, environmental and animal welfare reasons, it's essential for businesses to evolve and cater to the changing preferences of their customers.

We’re asking Tim Hortons to increase the proportion of plant-based food on their menu to support growing demand and to reduce their impact on animals, people and the planet. Send an e-letter to the CEO and Sustainability Director urging them to add consistent and permanent plant-based options to their menus across Canada. You could suggest they add a plant-based breakfast sandwich with egg and/or meat replacements, tofu items or dairy-free muffins.

We encourage you to personalize your e-letter as that makes “double-double” the impact! To start, please fill in your name and email.

Tips for personalizing your e-letter:

  • Express your interest: Share your personal enthusiasm for Tim Hortons and explain why you believe adding plant-based options would be a positive step. Are you a regular customer at Tim Hortons? Make sure to include this too!
  • Highlight benefits: Emphasize the benefits of plant-based options, such as catering to dietary needs and preferences, reducing environmental impact and promoting animal welfare.
  • Encourage action: Politely urge the CEO and Sustainability Director to consider the increasing popularity of plant-based diets and the potential for tapping into a new customer base while also lowering their carbon footprint and preventing animal suffering in their supply chain.
  • Express gratitude: Thank the CEO and Sustainability Director for their time and consideration in reading your email and taking the opinions of customers into account.

When you’re done with the e-letter, remember to click ‘send’.
